Key Take Outs
- The power of the environment. Our environment has the power to change our perspective and perception on the world and certainly is a key element to transformation and change. If the environment in which you exist is not conducive to positive change then you must work to change it or manage it.
- Gut feel, heart intuitive, clear head. Gut feel is how we sense the world. The heart is how we connect to ourselves and with others. A clear head and mind free of chatter allows incredible insight. Our environment affects these three areas.
- Remote environments, isolation, meditation. Brings clarity. Often the reason why we feel more alive in isolation is because we have changed our environment affecting our intelligent centres as above. It may be hard to do this permanently but there are certain practices like meditation that may assist.
- What works for you? Find your own practice. In order to find what works best for you, you need to remain open to various practices and try different ways.
- What are your values? What is it that you wouldn’t compromise in living your life? A powerful question that asked daily will help you remain on purpose to how you really wish to exist.
- Competition vs. abundance. Competition is healthy if its about you not when its about me against you. There is an abundance of all things in life and with this type of mindset you will bring and attract more of it to you. It’s a very healthy approach to life that allows you to coexist and share more with others in this world.
- Choice is our gift. We all have choices and we must make conscious efforts in order to make the right ones.
- Stimulus and response. We often automatically respond to stimulus in life however a big part of our efforts towards positive change and taking responsibility of our own lives is making conscious efforts on how we respond to events that occur.
- Emotional and physical health the nutrition of life. Emotional and physical health is paramount in order for you to stay truly connected with your intelligent centres. It along with environment have powers to change your world beyond belief.
- The 9 Distinctions. Gayle highlights the 9 distinctions of effective leaders and how with greater emotional health comes better behavioural freedoms. They are worth reading, here is a link.
