The Opioid Crisis
In this interview, I speak with Dr Michael Presti who is the CEO of SafeRX Pharmaceuticals, a company that is focused on helping reduce the risk of prescription opioid overdose. Michael shares his views on the current opioid epidemic in the United States and the causes of it. Including insights into the functions of the FDA and how certain approvals have slipped past their gates. It’s one to get you thinking and certainly a little of the topic we discuss current vaccinations and possible associated risks.
Guest Bio.
Dr. Michael Presti, Ph.D., a Mayo Clinic-trained neurologist and the CEO of SafeRX Pharmaceuticals – a pharmaceutical company focused on creating safer communities by reducing the risk of prescription opioid overdose. This is completed through a patented new platform of alcohol-resistant opioids (ARO’s). As 2020 was a record breaking year for opioid overdoses, Dr. Michael Presti can speak directly to doctors who have seen the crisis first hand, and focus their experiences and research into his ARO research.
Through using ARO’s, opioid analgesics are combined with a proven alcohol-deterrent formula known as an ALDI, interfering with the metabolism of alcohol and saving lives.
