Guest Bio.
When I set out on my personal journey to discover how good my body and mind were designed to feel over a decade ago, I had no idea that sleep would be such an essential foundational piece of the puzzle. In January 2011, I embarked on a two and half month backpack trip through Europe which changed the course of my life forever. I was on course to become a doctor of physical therapy and it was on my adventure that I had time to really think about what I wanted and who I wanted to be. After doing some honest self-reflection, I realized that I wasn’t really that passionate about becoming a doctor of physical therapy… so I declined my acceptance and enrolled in a health coaching program that was heavily focused on nutrition and lifestyle management my true passion.
