    Key Take Outs

    • Informational learning vs. experiential learning. It is through experiential learning that we will experience the greatest change. We often think that if we build our beliefs and knowledge we can have great success but the fastest and most profound way to grow is through taking appropriate action and adopting favourable behaviours. That will excel your growth more rapidly than the informational type learning.
    • Meditation is a tool. It is used to bring you to a place were your full potential exists. It’s a place of clarity, creativity, peace, freedom, you name it, it’s a technique to remove the stresses, releases some tension and hone your mind on being present within your inner self and the moment. Choose the technique that bests suits you.
    • Epigenetics. Our behaviours and personal traits or characteristics can be carried on through generations via the genomes. The good news is that unlike DNA we can change these inner blockages that we have inherited. Some of who you are is due to past experience, up-bringing and social conditioning yet there are parts of who we are that may stem back 4 or so generations.

SOS technology is series of tools, techniques and teachings to help you reach a place of what you want and also what you want to let go of. The meditation practice doesn’t instantly improve life but it helps you bring balance to life. You can use mediations to help you move through the ongoing challenges in life.

    • Break your belief systems. We have grown up believing in certain things and generally find it hard to break these patterns or systems of beliefs however we need to remain open. When sceptical we should, rather than fight with disbelief, take action and experience what it is we question so that we can then have an experiential type belief rather than one built on assumptions.
    • Neuroplasticity. For whatever has been built up and imbedded in our beliefs and behaviours we actually have the ability to change. It may take work but the truth is that with some grounding meditation and action we can change previously held in our neural-pathways.
    • Consistency in practice. In whatever you do, the consistency behind the practice is what allows you to master it. If you remain consistent with the mediation process that you adopt, you will realise the benefits.

What advice would you give to your 20-year-old self?
