Guest Bio.
Phillip Anderson, a young and first-time author from New York City, discovered his passion for writing at the age of 16 through journaling. Writing became his therapeutic outlet, allowing him to express his thoughts, feelings, and emotions in a unique way. While pursuing his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology at Morehouse College, his natural talent for writing caught the attention of his music professor, who encouraged him to pursue it professionally. Graduating in 2018, Phillip went on to pursue a master’s degree in public health while continuing to write. However, his desire to become a professional writer grew stronger, leading him to take a year off from graduate school. During this time, he completed and published his first book, “The Needs of The Heart.” This insightful book explores the spiritual, emotional, and moral longings that Phillip believes are essential for personal and societal growth. Through his writing, he aims to make the world a better place by promoting these principles and emotions.
