Summary
Zen Cryar DeBrücke is the author of Your Inner GPS. She is an internationally renowned teacher, speaker, and coach whose programs have helped people all over the world transform their personal and business lives for the better.
How can I stop feeling so stressed out by life? What is my purpose? Why am I here?
Each of us is born with access to a powerful tool called an Internal Guidance System (IGS). Not unlike the GPS system that is built into cars, its purpose is to guide us through our lives by letting us know whether our thoughts and actions are moving us closer to, or further away from, the things we most want to create in our lives.
It follows along the laws of attraction but in this episode we go a little deeper. How it differs from our intuition, how to use it, what is its purpose, and of course how it can be used to discover your own passion and purpose in life.
I really hope you get a lot from this chat with Zen Debrucke. Until next time, peace, passion and purpose.
Key Take Outs
- Connect with your purpose. If you don’t believe that we are all born with a purpose – you need to start believing. This will increase your chances of actually finding one and the actual journey and exploration is what makes life truly grand. Connect with it and follow it and it will take you to amazing places.
- IGS vs Intuition. Your inner guidance system stems from different realms than that of your intuition. Try out this practice as recommended by Zen and you can use it to help assess whether you should be doing something or not. Like a GPS guiding you to your ultimate destination.
- Become aware of who you are and your thoughts. Awareness is the ultimate key in life. With great awareness of who you are you will be able to better your mindset. And with a stable mind you can achieve just about anything.
- Questions. Ask powerful questions. The critical ones that will help you decide on what choices to make in life. “What would you do if you could do anything?” “What would feel right for you to do today if it was your last day?”
What advice would you give to your 20-year-old self?
I would tell myself that I am beautiful and not to worry about that ever.
Also, that there is no such thing as failure.
