Key Take Outs
- Listening to Understand. Its great to talk but in listening will you discover more. Listening is a critical aspect of any strong relationships.
- Your own unique individual drive. We all have our own unique drive and will be driven in different ways. To discover your drive, look at things that you have been driven to act on in the past and ask the question why. You may then adopt the same or similar principles.
- Inspiration and motivation. Inspiration is transpired through your experiences and by what you accomplish. Motivation will give you a compelling reason to act but that is as far as it takes you – you have to take the action.
- Experiment in life. The greatest way to find meaning in life and certainly your purpose is through experimentation. Don’t settle for what you have if you feel there is more.
- What’s your talents and what do you enjoy. You can often find what you will enjoy by coupling your talents with things you enjoy. Reflect on your strengths and assess whether you enjoy it and than find something that fits. If you cannot find something then create it.
- What’s your passion? Like what you do and you’ll do it with love. Love it and you will open and connect more fully with your soul. Don’t be distracted by the noise of life. What society expects, what your family expects, money, career, and the typical American dream is not the only path. Allow your own to form.
- Take a chance. We must invest in ourselves. There are three reasons why we may not: fear, comfort and indifference. Fear of what may be lost or not gained. Discomfort by steeping outside that we are used to. And indifference, which is the lacking of interest.
- On stoping and starting. You can start and stop through your search of what is more meaningful for you in life but perhaps don’t give up on completing what you start.
