  • 179: Jen Synder | Helping Women Create Flexibility & Freedom Through Online Business.

    Summary

After 27 years in the Real Estate Industry, she quit. Meet Jen Synder!

When she quit she became very miserable! She hated that industry, hated her mission, hated their mission. Burnt out, she didn’t feel like she was doing anything to help people. She discovered that her calling in life is to help people.

For the last year before she quit she had this idea that kept nagging at her. Thats when things changed. Now she has 3 kids and for the last 10 years has been self-employed. That means I have almost always been there when my kids need me. What if I could teach other women how to do this? How to make an income from home so they could have the flexibility and freedom to be with their kids?

In February of 2016 she started her dream, Women Winning Online was born. It blends her two passions: helping women build their own online businesses and having time for her family.

This is a great down to earth discussion relative for both men and women. Leave your comments here and until next time, peace, passion and purpose.

    Key Take Outs

    • Ask questions. Questions have the power to change your life. We are made up of our past but we need not live in the past. Instead ask yourself questions.

“What do you want to do in life?”

“Where do you want to be in 10 years?”

“Is what I am doing right now taking me there?”

    • Value 1st – then money. If you approach what you do with the goal of providing the most value you can without the mindset or desired focus of money you will succeed in what you do with more grace. In expericene a money outset has lessened my ability to truly succeed at what I set out to do. If I approach it with value, and do what I love and am passionate about it, the results are easier to achieve and greater. We all love to be paid handsomely for what we do.
    • In times you need to persevere. When you feel defeated, when you have moments of self-doubt and fear, when you feel like giving up – seek positive reinforcement. This will change your mood and change your mindset, your positive perception will allow you now to keep moving forward.
    • How to grow and audience. Seek out your potential audience and crowd to where they already exist. After that share, provide value and don’t be afraid, without being to sales like, to tell them what you do. This will lead people to you and if they like what you have they will likely stick around.

Do you have any routines and rituals that you believe contribute to your success?

Getting up early before the rest of the house. She commits to waking up at 4:30 or 5am.

What advice would you give to your 20-year-old self?

Do what you love first, the money will follow.

I love that you are so authentic in this broadcast – it’s really inspiring for others who might be feeling discontented with their current path and want to make a change. The fact that you made the challenging leap away from everything you knew and into what lights you up shows a lot of courage, and you’re assisting so many women to do the same. Thanks for an encouraging and heartfelt podcast!
