Key Take Outs
- The purpose of the journey is the purpose of the journey. The journey of life is more greatly appreciated when it is your own journey. And while that might not make much sense to you at the beginning, know that you will find greater purpose and meaning when you start following your path in life.
- The worst case scenario practice. When your thoughts create future negative assumptions about what’s to come, amplify those thoughts. Fold them out into the absolute worst case. What could happen if I …?
- When you reflect on the worst case against your first thought it may make you laugh and make the fear, doubt of limiting beliefs easier to overcome.
- To heal you must feel that pain and confront the suffering. For whatever your sufferings are if you do not confront them, reflect on them and let them out they will bind you. Society is ideal for finding ways to covering our suffering through short-term and immediate pleasures. This will not heal suffering; they will numb but not heal. To heal you have to reveal. To progress you have to express.
- What’s inside that blocks the happiness. We always look externally to find happiness however if you have blockages within you will always seek to only medicate. This is the practice of covering the source of true happiness. That source is found within. If we remove these blockages we will release our natural positive tendencies that will lead to greater peace and content in life.
- You are not your potential. It’s great to visualise your future. It’s great to dream about all that you can become but do not become disillusioned. Because the reality is your potential is who you become not who you are now.
