Questions are enquiry that require answers and it is the insight of questions that bring the magic. It is thought by many, and I believe Frank agrees, that the human population in large part has lost the ability of asking well thought and structured questions. Perhaps we have stopped asking questions period.
Whether you are investigating the cause of problems using Diagnostic questions or simply looking for ways to bring more novelty to the party with entertaining questions Frank has got you covered. The joy of reading such questions has sparked my fascination and really got me thinking about how, what, where and when I could ask more powerful questions.
Have you thought about what makes a great party? Entertaining questions are a great way to bring some life to a social event or party I also really enjoyed the other categories such as confrontational questions, legacy questions, creativity questions and empathy questions. Frank highlights many questions that can be asked within each category using great real life examples to put things into context.
I feel each category of questions has its time and place for all of us in our day to day lives. What was the last challenge or problem you faced at work and how did you handle it? It is easy to make rash assumptions and jump to conclusions but using diagnostic questions you might gain further insight into the truth that not only is a healthy way to solves problems or issues within the work place but can assist you in preventing future occurrences.
What is the legacy you want to leave behind? Legacy questions form much of what I ask here at The Hidden Why in order to gain insight into how we can live a greater life. It is these bigger questions that when directed internally can bring clues and truths about ourselves that might just trigger greater meaning and purpose. What brings you meaning in life?
Ask More! A fantastic and insightful read that will without doubt spark your interest to ask more.
