There is no passion to be found playing small – in settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living. Nelson Mandela
In recent interviews I have been asked about following our passion and if it is possible for all us to achieve. Can you live your passion? Can you make a good life doing so?
The topic of following one’s passions is very trendy – easy to understand why. Who wouldn’t want to live a life doing what they love, what they are passionate about. However, we must be careful not to get sold into false hope or develop and attach ourselves to unreal expectations.
I believe that by following our passions in life will enhance the quality of life. I believe passions can be developed. I believe passions are powerful. It is not an easy route to take nor is it difficult. It will set us on the path to our own journey and that is the magic of following our passion. It is liberating.
