Change
“No man ever steps in the same river twice, for it’s not the same river and he’s not the same man.” Heraclitus
He is a reading of an article I wrote about change and impermanence. At the time I was once again experiencing some significant change in my life I was left with all these feelings – feelings of excitement, feelings or anxiety. Nothing is permanent, I know this but it didn’t stop how I felt.
What does help? The development of one’s awareness. How these emotions, feelings and thoughts affect how well I cope with any change to come. And knowing that everything I experience at this moment will be gone in the next.
