Problogger by Darren Rowse

Having started several successful blogs himself, Darren managed to leave his day job to make blogging and teaching others how to blog his lifestyle career. Who better to learn from than someone who has a proven track record.

The podcast is well produced. Not overly edited but assembled in a way that gives fellow bloggers to the point, actionable advice. Darren comes across as very knowledgeable on the topics he presents, and I found that in most episodes there is usually always something to absorb and take away. Implementing them, well that’s another issue and up to the individual listeners to master.

What really stands out to me is Darren’s genuine desire in wanting to help. He doesn’t come across as some hot-shot entrepreneur merely wanting to make money off other people. Obviously, he does through the services he provides but it isn’t portrayed that way. I like this! It makes me feel like he cares and regardless of whether you’ll purchase the services or not, he is more than happy to provide purposeful teachings.

Majority of the episodes are short 15 – 30 minutes tutorials that aim to answer some of the keystone issues that bloggers most commonly face. He’s the expert in knowing how to capture a larger audience with catchy titles and SEO tricks of the trade. Many of his podcasts are the top 10 best way to achieve… (fill in the blank).

From time to time he does host guest interviews with other successful bloggers and online entrepreneurs. One name that may ring a bell is Pat Flynn, a popular Podcast pioneer who teaches others the dynamics of becoming an online entrepreneur. I believe Pat’s also a friend and maybe even a business partner.
