The Miracle Morning for Real Estate Agents
By Hal Elrod, Michael J Maher, Michael Reese, and Jay Kinder
Written and narrated by Leigh Martinuzzi
After a traumatic accident and said to have been critically dead for several minutes Hal Elrod went on to become an ultra-marathon runner, business achiever, author and international motivational speaker. He is the author of what many describe as a life-changing book, The Miracle Morning: The Not-So-Obvious Secret Guaranteed to Transform Your Life that went on to become a New York Times best-seller and one of Amazon’s most reviewed books.
The Miracle Morning for Real Estate Agents is an adaptation of Hal’s work written in a story format about the central character Rick Masters who was first introduced to us in Michael Maher’s book The Seven Levels of Communication. Previously reviewed on The Hidden Why Podcast.
Having yet read Hal’s book I was unsure about reading this one. Sceptical, I thought it may be more hype than truly life-changing. I believe the motivation for publishing this book for real estate agents was heavily influenced by Michael Maher as it’s written in the same style as his previous book based on the characters Rick and Michelle, who are now married, and includes many references to Michael’s work.
Who is Michael J Maher? In his third year in real estate, Michael became a million-dollar earner having successfully developed a relationship business built on referrals and generosity. He has since become one of the most in-demand speakers talking on referrals, generosity, marketing and relationship-building and now the Miracle Morning. He also has built a coaching business that is heavily promoted throughout the book, including why it’s so important that we all have a coach. No comments on this.
The guts of the book are all about Hal Elrod’s acronym Life S.A.V.E.R.S. Each letter stands for a practice that if implemented into each and every day will have us not only performing better in our occupations but in life as well. We will improve our health, relationships, fulfilment and happiness. Now, before you think it’s a ridiculous claim, please remain open to these ideas and practices and give them a go. Having adopted many of these same principles in my life over the last few years I have noticed a significant improvement in my life. I still have a long way to go and am more than happy to continue to learn and improve my morning routine as I truly believe there are amazing benefits to be had.
To get a better understanding of what each letter means and to save repeating myself, I have done a serious of videos on social media and also released them as a podcast, episode 784. Feel free to watch or listen. Each letter in S.A.V.E.R.S stands for Silence, Affirmations, Visualisations, Exercise, Reading and Scribing. Some of these I feel I am quite on top of and others I certainly need to continue mastering.
The book is easy to read and sometimes I felt the story is a bit unnecessary however it is without a doubt jam-packed with motivation, inspiration and practical advice on how we can all start our day better. And I truly believe that how we start anything is how we finish everything. How we start our day will influence how well we finish our day. The Miracle Morning is a system to help us all improve our performance and ultimately happiness in life.
