The Miracle Equation by Hal Elrod
Written and narrated by Leigh Martinuzzi
In this book, Hal Elrod shares the two decisions that will move our biggest goals from possible, to probably to inevitable. It’s a really simple equation however the greatest challenge is in its implementation. Hal does not explain what it’s all about and why it’s important by he guides us through the process of taking it from theory to execution and from there, miracles are created.
Hal Elrod is the Miracle Morning man. He wrote a book that has since gone on two selling millions of copies yet more importantly has helped thousands of people transform their lives. I’ve interivew him on the podcast and read his Miracle Morning book for Real Estate Agents and the simplicity of the morning routine is outstanding. However, like the Miracle Equation, the mastery lies in the execution.
The Miracle Equation is dead simple to understand – Unwavering Faith + Extraordinary Effort = Miracles. As Hal explained to me in my interview with him it was this equation that helped him with his success with his book The Miracle Morning. It has also helped him through many other life-altering challenges he has faced in his personal journey to date.
In all honesty, I found the first half of this book rather unconsuming however the second has lifted me up and definitely left me feeling inspired. Specifically, it is when Hal starts guiding us on the implementation and execution of this equation into our personal lives and applying to current life goals. From connecting to our mission, developing belief, putting forward extraordinary effort using a process and maintaining our momentum through positive affirmations. The final chapter Hal proposes a 30-day miracle challenge, in which I feel inspired to take up myself.
A good read and one worthy of inspiring us all to go out there and live our wildest dreams. Hal is a motivational guy and this book is all about that. It will be those who implement some of his ideas that truly do go on to create their own personal miracles.
