Stoicism And Sustainability
Today I share my interview with Kai Whiting – researcher and lecturer in sustainability and Stoicism based at the University of Lisbon, Portugal. His main interests are how to better account for resource use and the practical application of Stoic philosophy to the challenges of the 21st century. And what better place to start than with the challenges we all face in the current global crisis.
What fascinated me about Kai was his early hunger as an Engineer to better understand the “why” we do what we do, which is why he now combines both stoic philosophy and sustainability to his work. A fantastic conversation about how we can use stoicism and key practices to live a more purposeful life. Ask why!
