Joel Gandara is a father of 4 and a CEO and founder of Morro Capital, where they acquire e-commerce businesses, with over 20 brands in their portfolio.
Morro Capital also operates a number of leading brands like Agacio, Cover Male, Skiviez and holds a diverse portfolio that includes e-commerce, software development, manufacturing, and fulfillment businesses.
Joel comes from humble beginnings. He came on a small boat to the U.S. during the Mariel Boatlifts in 1980 when over 120,000 Cubans fled the communist island in search of freedom. Joel’s success has not come from a bloodline, but rather from straight grit.
