“A good teacher can inspire hope, ignite the imagination, and instill a love of learning.” Brad Henry
Teaching is a great way of self-expression, it is also a method for improving the lives of others. I believe we all have something we can teach, something that we can give others. To contribute and make impact the best way we can.
This isn’t to say we all desire to be teachers or that indeed we all should be teachers but rather to highlight that we all have some speciality that would be of benefit to others and in sharing and giving not only will we be better off for it but we will also enhance someone else’s life. Enjoy this thought!

Discovering Happiness – The Happy Chemicals
“Each happy chemical triggers a different good feeling. Dopamine produces the joy of finding what you seek– the “Eureka! I got it!” feeling. Endorphin produces the oblivion that masks pain– often called “euphoria.” Oxytocin produces the feeling of being safe with others– now called “bonding.” And serotonin produces the feeling of being respected by others–“pride.” Loretta Breuning
In this episode I revisit happiness and in particular how to discover happiness in our own lives. I am not an expert on happiness however I believe first and foremost happiness is discovered within and produced within. Happiness is a positive state of being.
I seek a deeper state of happiness in life. I seek more consistent calmness and peace and whether you define this as happiness or not I believe it is. It is being able to have a level of contentment or pleasure for what is right now.
Biologically we are all endowed with happy chemicals, dopamine, endorphins, serotonin and oxytocin. Even without free will we can influence the onset of these chemicals to bring about a better state of happiness and how we feel. Enjoy this thought!

Teach and Grow Rich: Share Your Knowledge to Create Global Impact, Freedom and Wealth
by Danny Iny
“If someone offers you an amazing opportunity and you’re not sure you can do it, say yes – then learn how to do it later.” Richard Branson
This book is about the exciting opportunity of tapping into and profiting from the online educational space. For entrepreneurs or even existing educators that would like to take their courses offline and transform them into online courses you may find value within.
Discover Your Why! Free Coaching Call Valued at $250
The first half of the book is insightfully about education in general and the changing nature of this space. It views the pros and cons of traditional education versus online education. I found some of the perspectives and facts fascinating. While I am very pro education in general I feel there are vast improvements that can be made in both.
Here was one interesting insight Danny shared about college education.
Be Different & Go Where No One Else Has Gone
“If you’re walking down the right path and you’re willing to keep walking, eventually you’ll make progress.” Barack Obama
Advice that I have received different that I would like to share. And that advice is to be different and go where no one else has gone. It’s okay to make your own path. The competition will be less and the rewards potentially greater. It will likely feel better, too.
Tim Ferris would ask the question, “What if I did the opposite?”
Arnold Schwarzenegger in his book explains that is how he achieved success in various fields he had the courage to enter.
It appears that many of the very successful have no fear to be different and venture of the path of what is normal. Something to think on. Be inspired!

In her book Emily argues that the search for meaning can immeasurably deepen our lives and is far more fulfilling than the pursuit of personal happiness. A great fit for The Hidden Why. (more…)
“The unreal is more powerful than the real, because nothing is as perfect as you can imagine it, because it’s only intangible ideas, concepts, beliefs, fantasies that last. Stone crumbles, wood rots. People, well, they die. But things as fragile as a thought, a dream, a legend, they can go on and on.” Chuck Palahniuk
There is not one meaning of success. You define success! What does a successful existence look like to you? Go after that. Create the desires, spread the ideas and thoughts in your mind like a virus spreads disease. Allow it to obsess the mind until the belief forms the behaviours that make what you desire reality.
Understand this, there is not magic pill we can swallow to live the life we desire. This is not recipe for success. What works for one doesn’t necessarily apply to another. There are concepts in life however that we must seek to do the work within that will put us at advantage to living a successful and happy life.

Duhigg has helped me understand habits. Why they exist and how I can go about changing them. What’s more is that in understanding habits I not only get insight into my behaviours but also why others behave in certain way. This is good for leadership, influence, and business.
If you want to know why you are not getting the desired results in what you pursue understanding behaviours and habits may give you some great clues.
