You Are Your Full Potential – What Is It? Go Beyond This!
We are our full potential. We are everything that we have become. We are an accumulation of our past. We are who we are today and this is our potential. This is our full potential. If you are not happy with how you exist today then you need to move beyond it.
No matter what we do from here we will develop into new potential into the future. The potential you become is entirely a choice that you can make today. If you want more freedom, fulfilment and happiness then you must seek the practices and do the work that will help you reach that.
Enjoy my 7 minutes of wisdom in this episode.

John Lee Dumas is the host of EOFire, an award winning Podcast where he interviews today’s most successful Entrepreneurs 7-days a week. JLD has interviewed over 1400 Entrepreneurs and EOFire has over 1 million monthly listens.
In this episode I ask JLD shares practices and advice on how we can go about discovering our why and living life with greater passion and purpose.
Do we all have a why?
Yes, we do! Some people may never find it because they don’t try and some people spend their whole life finding it without success. So when you find it be grateful, hold on to it, amplify it and share the value.
What are 3-5 things others can do to connect with theirs?
Be honest with yourself. Have honest conversations with yourself. Find the time and space to search internally. Don’t be afraid with silence and the answers you may discover.
What might be holding you back from following your path?
We listen externally to often for advice. The safe path, the typical path, may not be the best path to follow. Surround yourself with people that inspire you and don’t look externally for self-definition in life.
What is your meaning of success?
Freedom.
What advice would you give your 20-year old self?
Chill out. Relax. Have patience. Experiment. Try things. Make mistakes. Surround yourself by interesting people.
What are some of your daily routines/rituals?
Intermittent fasting. Meditation. Journaling. Exercise. Reading. Thinking.
What is the greatest productivity hack you know?
John uses The Master Journal. You can check it out here.
What advice would you give to anyone looking to make change in their life?
Look at those people who you inspire to be and study them. See how they got there and start putting yourself on that path.

Key Take Outs
- A need to manage and express our emotions. If we bottle our emotions by covering them with external pleasures or distractions, they will linger. Unexpressed emotions unconsciously do work behind the scenes that impede our ability to progress. If you can allow them to escape you will allow room for the new – this will certainly allow you to progress.
- How you feel now is going to pass. Our current state is not permanent. “This too shall pass,” means nothing endures and is an adage indicating that all material conditions, positive or negative, are temporary. Having an understanding how you feel may ground you and allow you to live with a greater sense of harmony. Stop trying to force change when change will naturally come.
- Worried about losing money is an attachment to the worry about being alone. Your relationship with money is a direct reflection on your relationship with yourself.
- We do not always like uncertainty. Spice is the key to enjoying life, I really believe this. However, uncertainty is not something we often enjoy and therefore resist moving towards it. Our amygdalae is the part of the brain that desires to keep us safe and in uncertainty it will look to avoid change.
- Thought habits. We often hear about our behaviour habits but what about the habits of our thoughts. What you think about often affects the action you take. What if you practiced different thoughts, how would that change your life?
Do you have any routines and rituals that you believe contribute to your success?
Meditation and taking care of my money on a daily basis.
What advice would you give your 20-year-old self?
Hang in there honey it’s going to get better.
What is the meaning of success?
Peace of mind, being satisfied and having faith in the future.
What is your number one productivity advice?
She does the work she can in the time she allows and is disciplined. If it doesn’t get done within that time she does not stress about it.
What advice would you give someone that needing/wanting to make change?
Don’t be afraid of change and understand it will be hard but you’ll get through it.
