Soul Over Matter: Ancient and Modern Wisdom and Practical Techniques to Create Unlimited Abundance
by Dr. & Master Zhi Gang Sha and Adam Markel
I open my heart to the deep well of happiness inside me.
I release the illusions of my smaller self and connect with my bigger self instead.
I realise I can be more and achieve more.
I see the Buddha in me and in others.
The more I read the more I discover how popular the East meeting the West is becoming. This book is one of them. Soul Over Matter delves into Eastern techniques and principles that can help us heal our soul and in doing so allow us to create more abundance in business and in life.
I fell immediately in love with many of the authors thoughts. The principles were also great however some are very new to me. I felt at first that they were strange and this is because they are not practices that I have grown up with or experienced. Techniques such as chanting and tracing for example.
“Ever since I was a child I have had this instinctive urge for expansion and growth. To me, the function and duty of a quality human being is the sincere and honest development of one’s potential.” Bruce Lee
“Be useful. Do something.” Arnold Schwarzenegger father.
Inspiration to take the action and make the change required to really reach your full potential. We have been given the greatest gift, life, and to do nothin with it seems like such a waste.
We all have our own uniqueness and I know that we all have a higher potential to reach, the issue that I see is that for many of us we don’t pursue it. I want to fight and exist for my potential and I want others to reach theirs, too. To see people wasting away there potential saddens me.
Please listen in, be inspired and ask yourself, “am I living my full potential?” If not, then its time to make some change.

“The brave may not live for ever but the cautious may not live at all.” Richard Branson
When I think of success I think of Richard Branson. A highly successful entrepreneur who has both successfully and unsuccessfully created over 400 businesses often entering into industries that many would avoid.
He is a worldwide celebrity known for living life to the fullest with a tendency for adventure, an appreciation for having fun, and a passion for all that he does, sometimes controversially so.
This I like a business 101 course with Richard Branson as he shares his own business and life’s lessons, learning’s and principles, with over 40 years experience, there is certainly a lot to be taken from it.
“Criticism, like rain, should be gentle enough to nourish a mans growth without destroying his roots.” Frank A. Clark
Do I encourage feedback? Feedback and criticism can be hard to swallow but, it’s essential if you want to make powerful improvements and progress in life. In this episode I share my thoughts on what feedback I choose to listen to, and how I handle and respond to it.
This is critical – Why? The reality we live in is directly a creation of how we choose to interact with it. There is a great quote by Charles R. Swindoll thats states, “life is 10% of what happens and 90% of how you react to it.” As this relates to feedback I suggest how you react to feedback is more important than the feedback itself.
I value my continual self-improvement. In efforts to become my best potential in life I listen to constructive feedback and draw from it the powerful benefits it can have.
“Feedback is the breakfast of champions.” Ken Blanchard.
